What are Sevas in Tirumala?
In Tirumala, at the abode of Lord, there are many rituals and festivals performed in the temple round the year as per Vaikhanasa Agama. These rituals and festivals are performed on a daily, weekly and periodic basis. Few of these rituals are also termed as Seva as these are performed by devotees on payment. These sevas is combined with some rituals based on seva type and then followed by Darshan to the main deity.
What is Arjitha Seva?
When someone pays an amount to perform any seva in Tirumala (either it be Daily, Weekly or Periodical sevas) then we can it as “Arjitha Seva”. Admission to any particular seva on payment of a fee is known as “Amantranotsavam”.

How to Book for Arjitha Seva?
There are three options to book a Seva as below
- Online Booking: Arjitha Sevas (any seva) can be booked online well in advance. Quotas for all the sevas will be released periodically before 3 months to one year. Click to Book Online and More Details about Arjitha Seva
- Current Booking is the facility to book Arjitha sevas one day in advance or for the same day which are issued at Tirumala in Single Window Counter opposite to CRO (Central Reservaton Office), Tirumala. - E-Darshan Counters: Or You can book from e-Darshan Counters established by TTD. These e-darshan counters were established in most of the TTD Kalyanamandapams and Information Centres in all most all parts of Andhra Pradesh and outside Andhra Pradesh. Dress Code for Arjitha Seva
Dress code is strictly maintained for all sevas and ofcourse throughout tirumala. We highly suggest to maintain dress code as there will be no excuse on this.
Dress Code in Tirumala for Men
For Men suggested dress code dhoti or pyjamas with upper cloth.
Dress Code in Tirumala for Women
For women the preferred dress code is saree or half-saree with blouse or churidar with pyjama and upper cloth.
