Ugadi is celebrated in a more grandway in Tirumala, than any other shrine in Andhra Pradesh. Ugadi is considered as an Telugu New Year Day and is an very important festival which is celebrated in Tirumala by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Ugadi festival falls on 18th March 2018 this year.

Srivari temple is decorated with amazing decorations, flowers and is made ready for this festival. TTD has planned huge arrangements as well as special occasions for Ugadi festival this year. On this day the temple timing starts with Suprabhatham and Shuddi as usually. Followed by this Thomala Seva and Panchanga Sravanam will be performed inside the temple near Bangaru vakili. His Highness Lord Sri Venkateswara Main Idol and also Utsava idols are decorated with new clothes and jewellery and special decorations and then Ugadi Asthanam will be held in the temple which includes Panchanga Sravanam.
Arjitha sevas on Ugadi festival:
TTD has cancelled all arjitha sevas including Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva and Arjitha Brahmotsavam on this day. Please note all the other remaining Darshanam will be available as usually on this day.
