Before some years TTD used to perform the Garuda Seva to Lord Sri Venkateswara only during the Brahmotsavam times. But after some years TTD has decided to perfrom the Garuda Seva on every Full moon day (Pournami). From that day onwards the temple authorities have decided to perform the Garuda Seva every month on the Full Moon Day and this seva is called Pournami Garuda Seva.

On this Pournami Garuda Seva Lord Sri Venkateswara in the form of Lord Malayappa Swamy will be taken as a processing in the Tiru Mada streets on the Garuda Vahana. Pilgrims as freely allowed to participate in this Pournami Garuda Seva as it is conducted outdoors in public. But pilgrims also has to make a note that some days TTD will not be conducting the Pournami Garuda Seva due to any festivals, rules or any other changes in the regular working of the temple. It completely depends on the decision of the TTD to decide whether a Pournami Garuda Seva can be conducted or not on a particular day.

Also, due to the COVID this schedule may be changed completely as there are lot of restrictions regarding this. TTD has not released the calender of the Pournami Garuda Seva.
