The Srivari Mettu path is shortest route to take for reaching Tirumala and most of the pilgrims prefers this Route as the Srivari Mettu will take pilgrims to Tirumala in just 2-3 hours. But please be noted, the Srivari Mettu path will be steep at some point for some distance. To reach Srivari Mettu pilgrims can take free buses which will start from the Tirupati Bus Stand or Alipiri.
