  • On Akshaya Tritiya, mostly the festival is celebrated by women. The women in the homes will be waking up in the morning and will be taking up a head bath. Then the pooja mandir will be cleaned and decorated.
  • The pilgrims need to have a Goddess Lakshmi Photo or an idol. Anything is fine for the pooja on this day. The Mandir can be cleaned and decorated.
  • Then the Lakshmi pooja can be started as per the pooja procedure. After the Lakshmi pooja is completed, the pilgrims can offer the Lord the Prasadam which is cooked for the occasion. Then the pilgrims can offer the Harathi to the Lord and the pilgrims can take the prasad which is offered for the day.
