Chidambaram temple is the most important temple for the devotees of Lord Shiva. The Lord shiva will be in the form of Nataraja here in this temple. Nataraja is the form of Lord Shiva where the Lord will be in the form of performing the cosmic dance. The Chidambaram temple is the only temple in the world where Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of Nataraja. The temple is very famous among the devotees because of the unusual form of Lord Shiva. Every year, lakhs of pilgrims will be visiting the temple of the Chidambaram.

Most pilgrims will be coming to the temple for Darshan directly. For the pilgrims who were unable to visit the temple directly, the temple has arranged for the LIVE Darshan facility online. But the Live Darshan is not available always like in other temples.

Chidambaram Nataraja Temple Live Darshan Today

  • In the other temples, the LIVE Darshan means a camera will be installed in the main temple and the pooja and seva will be telecast lively. But this facility is not the same in the Chidambaram temple
  • The Chidambaram temple will be proving the LIVE Darshan only during the important festivals and happenings in the temple. The live darshan will be provided only in the Uthsava Moorthy only
  • This means, that the Lord in the inner sanctum will not be shown in the LIVE Darshan. Only the seva and pooja performed during the rituals for the Uthsava idols will be provided in the LIVE Darshan
  • The pilgrims and devotees can see the LIVE Darshan telecast on the TV Channels or else in the Youtube channels. The temple will also be providing the Live Darshan during the car festival which happens every year.
