The pilgrims need to check with the temple authorities for the details about the initiations which are done in the name of the Mangadu Amman temple. The pilgrims can also come to the temple and provide donations for the various programs in the Mangadu temple.
- One of the most important programs for the pilgrims who come to the Mangadu temple is the daily annadanam. The Annadanam or the free food is one of the important initiations of the Mangadu temple for the pilgrims.
- For all the pilgrims who come to the Mangadu temple, Free food will be provided from 12.00 PM daily. The timings of the Annadanam in the Mangadu temple are from 12.00 PM daily to 02.30 PM.
- The Annadanam or the Free food in the Mangadu temple is provided just beside the temple in the food donation hall. The pilgrims can come to the temple directly and go to the Mangadu Temple Annadanam Hall to get the food.
- The food will be provided to a limited number of people in the Mangadu temple. Daily the food will be cooked and provided to only 100 pilgrims. Beyond this number, the temple will stop serving the annadanam.
- So the Annadanam in the Mangadu temple is limited and will be provided on first come first serve basis in the temple.
