For the comfort of the pilgrims who walk to Tirumala the TTD has arranged a free luggage delivery service for the pilgrims. The pilgrims who will be walking to Tirumala from Alipiri can avail this service.

Pilgrims who will be walking to Tirumala via the Alipiri walking route cannot carry their luggage along with them. Some people will be putting up their luggage in private vehicles and will be paying for the same. To avoid this discomfort for the pilgrims, the TTD has arranged a Free delivery service for the pilgrims who will be walking to Tirumala temple by walk. The pilgrims has to follow the below rules and regulations for the service to get the luggage to Tirumala.

  • After reaching the alipiri the pilgrims can reach to the Alipiri Luggage deposit counters which are available near the walking path in Tirupati.
  • The pilgrims have to secure their luggage using the locks. Only completely packed luggage bags are allowed. The bags which are not properly packed is not allowed
  • Pilgrims have to fill in the details of the luggage at the luggage counter and have to get the token
  • The pilgrims can then walk to Tirumala. And by the time the pilgrims reach Tirumala, the luggage will be delivered using the TTD vehicle to carry the luggage
  • The pilgrims have to reach the Luggage delivery counters near the walking ending path and can get their luggage
  • The luggage is completely secured and the pilgrims need not worry about the safety of the luggage
  • Valuable items and also the banned items is not allowed through the luggage.
