Tirumala is considered as a place where there is a saying “Nithya Kalyanam; Pacha Thoranam” meaning “The Place where the Marriage happens ever and the leaves is always greener”. Like wise, the Tirumala temple is the only place where Marriage Ritual which is “Kalyanotsavam” happens daily.

It is considered as the most auspicious seva which can be conducted by couples only. The Kalyanothsavam in Tirumala is considered auspicious for any age group couples and also new married couples.  The Kalyanotsavam in Tirumala is performed as a wedding ceremony for the Uthsava Mooorthy idols and which takes approximately an hours to complete.

Tirumala Kalyanotsavam Timings

The Kalyanotsavam in Tirumala is performed daily except on Special occasions. The Timings of Kalyanotsavam are from 12.00 PM to 01.00 PM daily. Every day more than 500 pilgrims take part in the Kalyanotsavam. This seva is not performed on important festivals like Srivari Brahmotsavam, Pavitrotsavam, Pushpayagam, etc., and on the days of solar and lunar eclipses. The duration of the seva is about one hour.

The tickets for Kalyanotsavam are released before 3 months online. The tickets can be booked online from TTD Online website. The quota generally get filled very fast.

Tirumala Kalyanotsavam Current Booking

If someone, who is already in Tirumala, wants to participate in Kalyanotsavam can take the Electronic DIP systems and can purchase the tickets at the Arjiitham counter near CRO daily. Every day, Kalyanotsavam tickets are sold from 11 AM to 5 PM for the seva which is performed next day.

Tirumala Kalyanotsavam Procedure Darshan

• The Kalyanotsavam is performed on the Uthsav Idols with every element of marriage ceremony. The Process includes homam, Mangala sutra Darama, Talambralu and the idols are garlanded and harathi is performed.
• Once pilgrims completes the Kalyanotsavam, hey will be allowed to Darshan through Supadham Entry and will be merged with other que lines

Tirumala Kalyanotsavam Laddu

For all the Pilgrims who participates in Kalyanotsavam, Kalyanotsavam laddu will be provided after completion of the Darshan.

Tirumala Kalyanotsavam Dress Code

The dress code is strictly followed for all the pilgrims who participates in Kalyanotsavam. For ladies, the dress code should Saree or any complete traditional wear. And for gents it is strictly Dhothi and Shirt.
