But after the COVID, the temple authorities have introduced many restrictions and also rules for the Darshan of the temple in the Srirangam. Also, as the pilgrim’s crowd is heavy on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day at the temple, the temple authorities are being even more careful for the Darshan.
This is the reason, the temple authorities have introduced the Online Booking system for the Darshan at the Srirangam temple on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day. Please follow the below procedure to book for the Darshan at the Srirangam temple on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day.

For the better of the pilgrims, the temple authorities have introduced the online booking system. Please note, that offline booking is not available as of now at the temple. On the Vaikunta Ekadasi day, only the pilgrims who have Online booking will be allowed at the temple.

The procedure of the online booking process is as below.
- Before booking for the Darshan pilgrims need to register their profile on the website first with all the details.
- Once the registration is completed with the completion of the mobile and email confirmation then pilgrims can proceed with the registration
- Pilgrim who want to have Darshan and Seva, have to click on the options which are available for Seva
- Once the pilgrims select the exact seva which they want to attend, they have added details of the pilgrim’s name, age, aadhar card number and remaining details
- After this, the pilgrims have to complete the payment for the tickets
- Once the payment is completed then pilgrims can download the PDF of the tickets they have booked for and can go to the temple for the Darshan. Please note, the tickets are available in limited quantity only and also it’s first come first serve basis
