- On Maha Bharani day, the head of the family will wakeup and take a head bath. Then the pilgrims will be leaving to the River or else the temple where the Maha Bharani is held. Then the pilgrims can hire the priest and purchase all the items for the Maha Bharani festival.
- The family members will be making ready for the pooja at home. Once the tharpanam is completed, the pilgrims can return home and do the pooja in home. The pilgrims will be offering clothes to the ancestors on this day along with the details about the pooja.
