Kedarnath Yatra is the pilgrimage to the temple of Kedarnath which is located in the Himalayas. Every year pilgrims will be visiting the temple of Kedarnath Yatra as a part of the Chardham Yatra. This temple of Kedarnath Yatra is opened only six months in a year as the for the remaining days the temple is covered with snow and the town will see a huge snowfall during this month.
In the months of heavy snowfall during the year, the pilgrims will not be allowed to visit the temple and hence the pilgrims will be allowed to visit the temple only during the months of fewer snowfalls. This year, the Kedarnath Yatra will start in the month of May and the temple of Kedarnath will be open from May 1st week.

- The pilgrims should fill in all the details about themselves and their valid id cards. Mostly aadhaar card is accepted. The pilgrims should register by uploading the aadhaar card to the website
- Once the pilgrim is registered the pilgrims will be provided a pass for the visit of the Kedarnath Yatra.
- The pilgrims even though visiting the temple under any travel package have to make sure they register on the website and get the visiting pass for the Kedarnath Yatra.
