Sabarimala Temple Opening Dates 2022 to 2023
The Sabarimala Temple will be opened for Darsahn only during the days of Mandalapooja (approximately 15 November to 26 December every year), Makaravilakku or “Makara Sankranti or Makara Jyothi” (14 January every year) and Maha Vishuva Sankranti (14 April), and the first 5 days of each Malayalam month.
So the days which the temple is opened pilgrims has to plan for the Darshan. The accurate dates of the 2022 and 2023 will be updated soon. But the pilgrims can make a note of the above days and follow accordingly. During the opening days of the Sabarimala temple, pilgrims who has put up Ayyappa Swamy Vratham only will be allowed for the Darshan. There are lot of changes for the Darshan procedure due to the COVID. Pilgrims need to follow all the regulations laid out for the COVID Procedure.
Every year, The TDB which also Travancore Devaswom Board will announce the calendar and the opening dates of the Sabarimala pilgrimage. The calendar will be updated here soon. Pilgrims can plan their pilgrimage based on the opening dates of the Sabarimala temple but most of the pilgrims will be having Darshan of the Sabarimala temple during the Makaravilakku and also during the Mandala Pooja.
Pilgrims who are planning for the Darshan has to book for the Darshan online as per the norms of the TDB authority. All the pilgrims will be allowed for the Darshan of the Lord during the days laid out by the authorities only.
