Most people feel like the Rahu Ketu pooja has to be conducted in the Rahu Kalam timings only. But it’s not like that, the pooja can be conducted at any time in the temple. There is no such rule saying that the Rahu Ketu Pooja has to be done at particular times in the day.

The process of the Rahu Ketu Pooja is as below

  • The pilgrims have to reach the temple at least 3 hours before the time they want to perform the pooja
  • There is no online booking for the Pooja and hence the pilgrims has to purchase the tickets from the temple counter which is available in the temple premises
  • Once the ticket is purchased the pilgrims can go to the hall where the pooja is performed. The Pooja is performed in batches only and hence pilgrims can participate in the pooja in the available batch
  • The pilgrims need not take anything to the pooja. The temple will provide all the required materials for the Pooja
