Maha Shivaratri festival is one of the most important events in the Srisailam temple. Every year lakhs of pilgrims come to the Srisailam temple for the Darshan and also participate in the Maha Shivaratri festival. The Maha Shivaratri festival in the Srisailam temple is conducted for ten days. On these 10 days, the Lord will be taken as a procession in the temple on different vahanam. The pilgrims can come to the Srisailam temple and can participate in the Maha Shivaratri festival. These 10 days in the Srisailam temple are called as the Srisailam Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam. The Srisailam Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam is conducted on all these days and the main festival will be on the Maha Sivarathri day. The pilgrims can come to the temple and participate in the Srisailam Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam for Free without any booking or tickets. The pilgrims will be allowed to watch the Srisailam Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam from the Mada streets.
Srisailam 2024 Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavams Dates Timings
The Srisailam Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam will be starting on 01 March 2024 and will end on 11 March 2024. The Srisailam Maha Shivaratri will be on 08 Martch 2024. On all these 11 days the Srisailam Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam will be conducted and the lord will be taken as an process on the made streets. - All the Vahana Seva in the Srisailam Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam will be conducted in the evening only. The timings of the Vahana Seva will be from 05.00 PM – 08.00 PM daily.
