The Tirumala temple will be conducting the Pournami Garuda Seva every month for the Lord Venkateswara. Normally, the Garuda seva will be done for the Lord every year during the Brahmotsavam. but the decision to conduct the Pournami Garuda Seva every month is taken to make sure, the devotees can have the Vahanam Darshan every month. This is started for the benefit of the devotees to ensure they watch the Garuda seva if they miss Brahmotsavam
The Pournami Garuda Seva will be conducted in the Tirumala temple almost every month on Pournami day. But for some of the days, the seva might be cancelled due to any festivals or any other reason. The pilgrims can watch the procession of the Tirumala Pournami Garuda Seva in the Tirumala Mada streets by sitting in the galleries. The Tirumala Pournami Garuda Seva will be having very less number of devotees compared to the Navaratri Garuda Seva. The Darshan time will not be affected because of the Tirumala Pournami Garuda Seva.
