Ratha Saptami festival in Tirumala is the most important festival for pilgrims. The Ratha Saptami is called as the Ardha Brahmotsavam in Tirumala. There is a reason behind this. On the Ratha Saptami day, the Lord in Tirumala will be taken out as a procession on all the Vahanam. This means the pilgrims can see all the Vahanam Procession from morning to evening in Tirumala. The temple will be making all the arrangements for this similar to the Brahmotsavam. Normally, during the Brahmotsavam the Lord will take out for procession on one vahanam each day. But on the Ratha Saptami day, the Lord will be taken on all the Vahanam

- This is the reason, the pilgrims will come to the Tirumala temple for the Darshan on the Ratha Saptami day. The pilgrims can come to the Tirumala and can see the Vahanam from the Viewer’s gallery
- But if the pilgrims want to go to the Darshan on the Ratha Saptami day in Tirumala then they need to make arrangements. Normally, the Free Darshan which is also called the Sarva Darshan is available in the Tirumala temple.
- So the pilgrims can go directly to the temple and can take the free darshan. But the Online booking of the tickets will be available based on the rules which change every year.
- The pilgrims can put a track on the tickets which are released online for the Ratha Saptami for one month. All the Special Privileged Darshan will be cancelled on the Ratha Saptami day in Tirumala
- The VIP Darshan will be available for this day but it will be available only for the protocol VIP. Most of the pilgrims don’t prefer to go to the Darhan on the Ratha Saptami day. The timings of the Darshan will not change mostly on this day
