Before COVID, the Tirumala temple use to release the tickets for Rs. 300 Special Darshan before 3 months. Also, the ticket use to be large numbers per day. Per day TTD use to release at least 20-30k tickets online for booking for the pilgrims. But after COVID, the TTD authorities have decided to limit the number of tickets per day and also they have decided to release the tickets quota online before one month only.
Also please note, like before pilgrims will not get offline tickets for the Rs. 300 Special Darshan in Tirumala and Tirupati through counters. Right now only online tickets only are available. This is the reason the tickets are getting sold minutes after releasing online. There is a huge demand for Rs. 300 Special Darshan in Tirumala right now. Pilgrims are preferring to go for Darshan in any possible way.

- The expected dates for the release of the Rs. 300 Special Darshan tickets online between 23-28 March 2022. But this can be tentative and completely depends on the TTD decision.
- The Pilgrims in order to get the tickets has to follow the guidelines as suggested by the TTD. The pilgrims need to create the accounts in the TTD website before itself and also has to make sure their payment modes are ready when the tickets are opened
