Ujjain Mahakal temple is the most famous temple for the devotees of Lord Shiva. The Jalabhishek pooja in the temple timings is early in the morning as below. To participate in the Jalabhishek pooja in the Mahakal temple the pilgrims have to follow the below procedure. The Ujjain Mahakal temple is visited by lakhs of pilgrims every day. During the festival season or on important days, the pilgrims cannot do any pooja.

So it is best for the pilgrims to book for the pooja before itself. The Jalabhishek in the Ujjain Mahakal temple means doing the Abhishek with water by the pilgrims themselves directly. Ujjain Mahakaleshwar Jalabhishek Timings Online Booking

  • The timings of the Ujjain Mahakal temple Jalabhishek is 3:15 am – 4:00 am daily.
  • The ticket cost for the pooja is Rs. 100

The pilrims who participate in the Jalabhishek have to strictly follow the dress code. The dress code for the Jalabhishek is the Indian traditional wear

  • To participate in the Jalabhishek the pilgrims have to reach the Mahakal temple one day.
  • The pilgrims have to reach the temple counter for the tickets. There is no online booking for the Jalabhishek in the temple. So the pilgrims have to come directly to do the Jalabhishek
  • Then the pilgrims have to book the tickets by paying the amount. If the pilgrims are more and the peak season then the tickets might not be available
  • The tickets are limited per day and then tickets are first come first serve basis
  • If the pilgrims’ book for the Jalabhishek then the confirmation is provided at 10 PM for the next. The pilgrims then can go to the ticket counter and can pay and confirm the Jalabhishek ticket
  • The pilgrims have to attend the Jalabhishek pooja the next day at the given timings
