Ganga Pushkaralu is the festival which is celebrated for the Rive Hanga every 12 years. As per astrology and Hindu belief, Pushkaralu is the festival which is celebrated to each river annually. There are 12 rivers in India which are major rivers and hence the Pushkaralu is celebrated each and every year. This means for any river the Pushkaralu festival will be repeated after 12 years only. This is the reason, the pilgrims will be coming through out the country to participate in the Pushkaralu festival.
For the year of 2023, the Pushkaralu will be held for the River Ganga. So the year 2023 will be dedicated for the Ganga Pushkaralu. The pilgrims believe that the Lord Pushkar will be residing in the river in these days. So taking bath in this rivers in the Pushkaram year will be very good spiritually

The Ganga Pushkaralu starts on 22 April 2023 and the Ganga Pushkaralu ends on 03 May 2023
- The Ganga Pushkaralu will be held for the Ganga river for 12 days in the above dates. The pilrims can take bath in the Ganga river in the above dates
- Some people belive that the bath should be taken in the Ganga river on the start timings of the Pushkaram Muhurtham. But it is not like that, the pilgrims can take bath in any of the 12 days.
- The Government will be making the bathing ghats ready for the pilgrims through out the Shoreline of the Ganga river. The pilgrims can bath in the ghats in their convenient muhurtham and also timings
- The pilgrims need to plan for the Ganga Pushkaralu properly in the above days. Because the pilgrims will be in lakhs participating in the Ganga Pushkaralu
