The Medaram Jathra for the year will be conducted from 16 February 2022 to 19 February 2022. The Festival willl be conducted for 4 days every year and hence there are four dates. The Medaram Jathara starts on 16 February 2022 and ends on 19 February 2022. These four days there will lot of procedures and celebrations which happens in the village.
Lakhs of pilgrims will be visiting the place during these four days of festival. However, due to the COVID there might restrictions for the pilgrims who are visiting the temple of the Medaram during this Festival.

The Medaram Jatara will be conducted for the Goddesses Sammakka Saralamma at the temple. The temple has a lot of history and hence the festival will be conducted there. The Government will be making respective accommodation and also Darshan arrangements of the pilgrims. Unfortunately, there is no online booking or pre booking for the festivals. Pilgrims has to visit and have Darshan then and there itself. Also, there are no Darshan types similar to the other temple. Pilgrims are allowed to have only one type of Darshan.
During the festival days, the entry and Darshan to the temple might be difficult. But pilgrims can have Darshan of the idols which will be kept for the purpose of the festeival only at the place called Gadde.
