- Those who have pitru dosha should put black sesame seeds, white sandalwood and white flowers in water and offer them to Raavi tree on Bhadrapada Amavasya day. After that, a lamp with pure ghee should be lit near the Ravi tree. Chant the mantra ‘Om Sarva Pitru Devaya Namah’. Doing this will free you from Pitru Dosha.
