For this year of 2022, the authorities have decided not to allow the pilgrims the entry of the swarga vaasal due to the onset of the COVID third wave. However, pilgrims will be allowed General Darshan for the temple. Only the pilgrims will not be allowed for the entry of the Vaikunta Dwaram or Swarga Vaasal.
Last year, there was an option to book the tickets online and pre-registrations and limited devotees were allowed for the Swarga Vaasal. But this year the authorities have completely banned the entry of the Swarga Vaasal. Also, the temple authorities have requested the pilgrims who are older than 60 years old and who are younger than 10 years old not to come for the Darshan as they tend to have the COVID effects more fatal.
