Tirumala hills and the surrounding firest had many Theerthams for the pilgrims. The pilgrims can visit the Agni Theertham in Tirumala for Spiritual benefits. The pilgrims can go to the Agni Theertham easily from Tirumala. It is said that Tirumala has 108 theertham for the pilgrims to visit. Some theertham can be visited by the pilgrims and some theerthams cannot be visited as they are located in the deep forest. The pilgrims also visit some theertham without much travelling. Agni Theertham in Tirumala is one of the theertham which the pilgrims can go and visit.

The pilgrims can also take baths in the Agni Theertham and can have the Darshan of the Lord Agni here. Each theertham in Tirumala has some history and story. The Agni Theertham in Tirumala also has a story which is related to the Lord Agni. The pilgrims can check the story of the Agni Theertham in the Puranas and the vedas. The Agni Theertham is located just 5 kilometres from the Tirumala temple.

  • Agni Theertham timings are from morning 06 AM to 06 PM in the evening. The pilgrims need not to take any special permission from the authorities for visiting the Agni Theertham. The pilgrims can directly go to the Agni Theertham and can have the Darshan
  • Sometimes, the pilgrims are allowed to take a bath in the Agni Theertham and sometimes not allowed to take a bath. The pilgrims can check with the TTD authorities of the same. The pilgrims can also go to the Agni Theertham using the Free Bus which is allotted by the TTD.
  • The pilgrims may need to trek for some distance to reach the Agni Theertham from the main road. The pilgrims need not to travel till they reach the Agni Theertham in Tirumala.
