The Kartika Masam is one of the months in the Telugu year. The Kartika Purnima is the full moon day or the Poornima day in this month. This month is considered one of the most important months for the pilgrims of the Lord Shiva. During this month, the pilgrims will be worshipping Lord Shiva and will be doing a lot of the offerings in the month.

Kartika Purnima as it occurs in the month of the Karthika derives its name from the month. The pilgrims will do a special pooja for the Lord Shiva during this Kartika Purnima day. The pilgrims also will be visiting the temples of the Lord Shiva. Some pilgrims will be celebrating the Kartika Purnima also known as the Karthika Diwali. The pilgrims celebrate this festival equal to normal Deepavali. The date and timings of the Kartika Purnima is as above.

  • The pilgrims who want to do the Kartika Purnima pooja at the temple can visit the Shiva temple for the Kartika Purnima pooja. If the temple has the pooja ongoing then the pilgrims can join the pooja.
