Onam is the most important festival in the Kerala state of India. The Onam is the annual festival which is conducted in a grand manner in the Kerala state. This Onam is an 10 day long annual ritual which will be conducted in the state wide celebrations. Almost all the people in the Kerala state will be celebration the 10 day onam festival.

• The temples will be conducting a special pooja on Onam day. Including the Sabarimala temple. The pilgrims will be coming to the temple wearing the Onam attire which is a traditional dress.
• The people who are celebrating the Onam festival will be going to the temple and then will be celebrating the day with Onam Sadhya
• Onam Sadhya is a special arrangement of the food for the Onam day and the people will be eating this Sadhya for the special occassions only.
• The Onam Sadhya will be cooked in different styles in different parts of the state. The Thiruvonam day will be specifically celebrated in the Tamilnadu state and also the Kerala state
