Every year, lakhs of pilgrims will be coming to the Sholingur Temple for the Darshan of Lord Narasimha Swamy. The pilgrims can come to the temple by the steps or by the rope car which has been recently built

The temple is located on a small hill lock which the pilgrims can access through the steps. There are around 1305 steps to the Sholingur Temple. The pilgrims can also go to the temple by rope car. The Rope car in the Sholingur Temple is recently opened and is maintained by the state tourism department.

  • The Sholingur Temple rope car does not have an Online booking facility. The pilgrims must go to the temple and then book the Sholingur Rope car.
  • The ticket price of the Sholingur Temple Rope car is Rs. 15 per head. The charges can be paid while the pilgrims are taking the rope car. The pilgrims can directly go to the temple and can pay the tickets prices and can take the rope car
  • The travel in the rope car will take 10-15 minutes to reach the temple. The pilgrims can pay for the rope car charges to and fro at the same time.
  • The ticket should purchase for anyone who is above 5 years only. The pilgrims can take the return cable car while coming down from the temple after the Darshan
  • The timings of the Sholingur Temple Rope car are Morning 9 AM to Evening 5 PM only.
