Aksharabhyasam Timings: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Aksharabhyasam Days: Performed all days except on Amavasya

Aksharabhyasam Ticket Cost: Rs 250 for one child and two parents.

  • To perform the Aksharabhyasam in the Sringeri Temple first the pilgrims have to reach the Sringeri temple. The Aksharabhyasam will be performed daily in the temple.
  • The pilgrims can go to the ticket counter before the above timings and can book for the Aksharabhyasam tickets. There is no online booking or advance booking for the Aksharabhyasam pooja.
  • The pilgrims have to come directly and book for the Aksharabhyasam pooja. Please note, the pilgrims should buy the slate and chalk for the procedure. The whole pooja will take around 30 minutes.
  • The pilgrims can go to the Aksharabhyasam Hall and finish the pooja. The pilgrims should come in traditional clothes. The kids should be able to write and understand well.
