What’s special about Tiruchanur Brahmotsavam 2025

The annual Kartheeka Brahmotsavams of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru at Tiruchanur are among the most beloved TTD festivals. For 2025, the Brahmotsavam runs from Monday, 17 November to Tuesday, 25 November. The Ankurarpanam (seed-sowing rite) is on Sunday, 16 November, inaugurating the festivities. Ahead of the festival, Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam (temple purification) will be observed on Tuesday, 11 November. Morning and evening vahana sevas are scheduled 8:00–10:00 AM and 7:00–9:00 PM, respectively.

Note: If TTD issues any last-minute route or timing adjustments, the on-day temple notice takes precedence. Always follow police/TTD marshals.
