Tirumala Difference between Seva and Special Entry Darshan TTD

  • The Seva which is also called the Arjitha Seva is the seva which is performed to the lord. Seva like Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Kalyonotsam, Vasanthothsavam and many other seva types are available in the Tirumala temple. This seva is called the Arjitha seva because pilgrims will be paying the temple to perform the seva
  • The pilgrims who booked the seva can go to the temple and can perform the seva to the Uthsav idol which is kept in the temple Vaibhavothsava mandapam. Many pilgrims think like the seva will be performed to the main idol in Tirumala. But it’s not like that, the seva will be performed at the temple Uthsav Idol which is kept in the mandapam out of the premises of the temple
  • The pilgrims who have booked for the seva, first have to report the Mandapam and should complete the seva. Then the pilgrims will be allowed for the Darshan with the same ticket. Please note, that the seva will be conducted in a mass gathering-like environment only
  • The Special entry Darshan in Tirumala means the pilgrims can book for the Darshan and can go into the queue and can have the Darshan.
