Tirumala Updates 19-08-2025: Darshan Timings, Hundi Income & Pilgrim Count

Tirumala Updates 19-08-2025 – Free darshan wait time, ₹300 ticket timing, token darshan, pilgrim count, tonsure numbers, and hundi income.

Tirumala Temple witnesses heavy pilgrim rush every day, and August 19, 2025, is no exception. Thousands of devotees are standing in long queues to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara. The waiting hours differ based on ticket type, and the temple authorities have released the official statistics.

Current Pilgrim Rush at Tirumala

  • Free darshan (Sarvadarshanam): Devotees are waiting in 25 compartments. The estimated time is 18–20 hours.
  • ₹300 Special Entry Darshan: The waiting time is only 3–4 hours, which is far shorter than free darshan.
  • Token Sarvadarshanam: Devotees with tokens are completing darshan in 4–6 hours.

👉 This means free darshan devotees are facing long queues, while special entry ticket holders finish darshan more quickly.

Pilgrim Count on 18 August 2025

  • Total pilgrims who had darshan: 80,502
  • Devotees who offered tonsure (head shaving): 31,890

These numbers show the deep devotion of pilgrims. Despite long waiting times, thousands continue to flock to the holy temple, making it one of the busiest shrines in India.

Hundi Collection

  • The hundi income recorded on 18 August 2025: ₹4.88 crores

The income is used for Annadanam, infrastructure, accommodation, and welfare programs. Interestingly, even on regular weekdays, hundi offerings cross several crores, showing the unshaken faith of devotees in Lord Venkateswara.

Guidelines for Pilgrims

  • Plan your visit in advance if you choose free darshan, as waiting can last nearly a day.
  • Carry drinking water and essentials since queues may move slowly.
  • For elderly pilgrims and families with children, token darshan is a more comfortable option.
  • If possible, book the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan ticket online to save time.

The Tirumala Updates 19-08-2025 confirm heavy pilgrim rush. Free darshan takes nearly 18–20 hours, while ₹300 ticket holders complete darshan in 3–4 hours. On the previous day, 80,502 devotees had darshan, 31,890 offered tonsure, and hundi income stood at ₹4.88 crores.

No matter the waiting time, devotees believe their journey is complete only after chanting “Om Namo Venkatesaya” inside the sanctum.
