In light of rising Covid-19 cases, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has issued a Covid alert on June 5, 2025, urging all employees and devotees to adhere to updated safety guidelines. This step is taken as a preventive measure, not due to any outbreak, but based on public health advisories.


What Does the TTD Covid Circular Say?

  • The emergency circular was sent to all department heads and temple staff.
  • It urges strict implementation of safety measures in:
    • Queue complexes
    • Accommodation blocks
    • Public gathering spots inside Tirumala temple
  • Mass gatherings such as:
    • Prayer groups
    • Staff parties
    • Social meetings are temporarily suspended until further notice.
