TTD Recruitment: Latest Tirumala Temple Jobs, Dates & Apply Guide

Shiva Venkateswara Sharma Jul 7, 2026 6 min read

TTDER stands for TTD E-Recruitment — the official online portal of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) where job notifications are published and applications are accepted. The portal lives at ttd-recruitment.aptonline.in, and every notification is also announced on tirumala.org. This guide covers the 2026 recruitment cycle, eligibility, and how to apply correctly the first time.

What is TTDER?

TTDER is the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams E-Recruitment system — the single official portal where TTD hosts recruitment notifications, online registration, fee payment, application forms, hall tickets, and scrutiny status. In the current cycle it handled the AEE, AE and ATO computer-based test held on 10 and 11 May 2026, while medical and teaching posts ran through offline applications and walk-in interviews announced on tirumala.org.

Anything that reaches you as a forwarded message or social media post is not a notification. If a vacancy is genuine, it will appear on the TTDER portal or in a PDF hosted on an official TTD or institute domain.

TTD Recruitment 2026: Current Status

Here is where every notification in the 2026 cycle stands as of July 2026.

The AEE and AE (Civil/Electrical) and ATO papers ran in two shifts each day — 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. AEE (Civil) and AEE (Electrical) were held on 10 May 2026; AE (Civil) and ATO (Civil) on 11 May 2026. Hall tickets were issued through tirumala.org and the TTDER portal from 6 May 2026. For shift-wise pattern and hall-ticket details, see our TTD AEE/AE/ATO exam 2026 guide.

Selection for the engineering posts is based purely on CBT merit. The BIRRD medical and teaching posts are contract positions filled on qualifications, experience and interview, with pay for senior faculty going up to Rs 2,92,423 per month under CPC scales. The Civil Assistant Surgeon posts required MBBS with age between 21 and 30 years, carried no application fee, and pay starting around Rs 53,495 per month.

Past TTD Recruitment Timeline

TTD does not recruit every year. Notifications arrive in clusters, often with long gaps — which is why an old notification number (14/2023) can still be moving through exams in 2026.

YearNotification / drivePostsWhat happened
2021Assorted departmental and contract noticesAdmin, para-medical and support rolesApplications via TTD notices; several posts filled on contract
2023Notifications 14/2023 & 15/2023 on TTDERAEE, AE, ATO (civil and electrical)Online applications closed in 2023; CBT finally conducted 10–11 May 2026
2025SVIMS notification (September 2025)Medical, faculty and administrative postsInstitute-level PDF with post-wise eligibility; Hindus-only clause where applicable
2026BIRRD 30 posts, 8 Civil Assistant Surgeon walk-ins, AEE/AE/ATO CBTTeaching, medical and engineeringWalk-in held March 2026; offline window closed March 2026; CBT held May 2026

The practical lesson from this timeline: register your TTDER profile and keep documents ready during quiet periods, because application windows are short when they do open — and exams can land years after the original notification.

Eligibility: who can apply for TTD jobs

Eligibility is defined post by post in each notification PDF, but the recurring rules are consistent:

  • Engineering (AEE/AE/ATO): B.E./B.Tech or diploma in the relevant discipline as specified, with age limits and category relaxations per Andhra Pradesh government norms.
  • Medical posts: MBBS with valid medical council registration for Civil Assistant Surgeon; PG degrees and teaching experience for Professor and Resident posts at BIRRD and SVIMS.
  • Religious requirement: many TTD notifications carry a “professing Hindu religion” clause, stated explicitly in the PDF.
  • Documents: SSC certificate (your name must match the application exactly), degree certificates, category and local-status certificates, photo and signature scans within the portal’s size limits.

How to apply on the TTDER portal

When a new online notification opens, the TTDER application is a strict three-step workflow — skipping any step invalidates your form:

  1. Register: create a profile on ttd-recruitment.aptonline.in with your ID, mobile and email.
  2. Pay the fee: use the payment link mapped to your profile; keep the receipt.
  3. Fill the application: enter education details, upload photo and signature, select the correct post, and submit.

After submitting, use the portal’s Scrutiny Status and Print Application options to track and keep records. Offline recruitments (like the BIRRD posts) instead require downloading the application form from the notification PDF and posting or hand-delivering it to the address given — read the mode carefully in each notice.

How to get alerts for new TTD notifications

  • Check the TTDER portal and the recruitment section of tirumala.org weekly.
  • Follow news.tirumala.org for TTD press releases, which often precede formal notifications.
  • Watch institute job pages directly — SVIMS careers and BIRRD notices publish medical and faculty PDFs that never appear on job aggregators first.
  • Verify any viral job message against these official pages before sharing or paying anyone. TTD never charges outside the notified application fee.

FAQ

What is TTDER?

TTDER means TTD E-Recruitment — the official Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams portal at ttd-recruitment.aptonline.in where TTD publishes job notifications and accepts online applications, payments and hall-ticket downloads.

The official portal is https://ttd-recruitment.aptonline.in/. Notifications are also announced on tirumala.org. Treat any other domain claiming to accept TTD applications as unofficial.

What was the TTD AEE, AE and ATO exam date in 2026?

The computer-based test was held on 10 and 11 May 2026 in two shifts per day (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM), covering AEE Civil, AEE Electrical, AE Civil and ATO Civil posts.

Are any TTD applications open right now?

As of July 2026, the major 2026-cycle windows have closed: the BIRRD 30-post offline deadline was 16 March 2026, the Civil Assistant Surgeon walk-in was 5 March 2026, and the AEE/AE/ATO CBT is complete with results awaited. New notices appear on TTDER and tirumala.org.

Who is eligible for TTD recruitment?

It varies by post — engineering degrees for AEE/AE/ATO, MBBS or PG medical qualifications for hospital posts. Most notifications also require candidates to profess the Hindu religion, as stated in each official PDF.

Is there an exam for every TTD post?

No. Engineering posts use a computer-based test, while medical and faculty posts are usually filled through interviews and merit of qualifications and experience without a written exam.
