The Pilgrims are allowed for the temple visit during the Sarva Darshan. The Sarva Darshan is the free Darshan. There are other types of Darshan and also sevas allowed in the temple. The Sevas in the temple include Abhishekam, Unjal Seva etc. This temple is very famous for the people who has birth star as Sravana.

The temple is mostly less crowded due to the remote location. But during the festival season and also during any Brahmotsavams the temple will be filled with crowd. There are bus services from Tirupati and Tiruchanoor to visit the Appalayagunta temple. Share autos are also allowed and frequently flown
