Ganga Mahotsav Varanasi is one of the major festivals which is conducted in Varanasi by the temple authorities. The Ganga river will be flowing through the Varanasi and lakhs of pilgrims will take a bath in the river. The Ganga Mahotsav is an annual festival which is conducted on the Ganga river to seek the blessings of the river. The pilgrims will be coming from every where to participate in the Ganga Mahotsav.

  • The Ganga Mahotsav marks the Pournami and also the full moon during the Karthika Masam. The pilgrims can come to the Ganga river in the Varanasi and participate in the Ganga Mahotsav.
  • The pilgrims need not purchase fo any tickets to watch the Ganga Mahotsav. But if the pilgrims wanted to participate in the Ganga Mahotsav pooja then they had to book for the pooja online or offline.
  • The pilgrims can also participate in the Ganga Aarti which is performed near the Ganga river as a part of the Ganga Mahotsav 2023.
