The sacred festival of Jyeshtabhishekam will be performed at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple from June 19 to June 21, 2025. This annual event is one of the most spiritually significant rituals observed for Lord Malayappa Swamy, along with Sridevi and Bhudevi.

What is Jyeshtabhishekam?

Jyeshtabhishekam is an ancient Vedic ritual where abhishekam (sacred bathing) is performed for Utsava Murthys – Lord Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, and Bhudevi.

Highlights include:

  • Performing Snapana Tirumanjanam with holy water, milk, curd, turmeric
  • Adorning the Lord with golden kavacham (armor) after complete purification
  • Priests chant Pancha Suktams and Vedic mantras continuously during the abhishekam
  • Kavachams are removed on Day 1 and re-adorned on Day 3 after full purification

This ritual ensures spiritual cleansing and divine protection for the deity and all devotees.


How to Book Jyeshtabhishekam Seva Tickets (If Available)

Jyeshtabhishekam is a closed-door ritual, and very limited tickets are released by TTD under Arjitha Seva quota. Here’s how to check:

  1. Visit https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in
  2. Navigate to “Seva Tickets” > Special Annual Sevas
  3. Look for Jyeshtabhishekam under June month
  4. Book if available (very limited seats, mostly reserved)
  5. Download ticket and report at Supatham Gate

The Salakatla Brahmotsavam 2026, Navaratri Brahmotsavam, Pushpa Yagam, Rathasapthami, Teppotsavam, and Pavitrotsavam schedules at Tirumala are published by the TTD Board annually. As per the TTD Parabhava Nama Samvatsara Panchangam (released 19 March 2026), Vaikuntha Ekadasi 2026–27 is observed in January 2027 — pilgrims planning Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan should book accordingly when TTD opens its dedicated quota window.
