Tirumala Kiosk QR Code Donation System 2025 – Complete Guide

TTD introduces kiosk-based QR code donation system at Tirumala in 2025. Devotees can now donate without cash. Learn how to use it and where it’s available.

In a major digital upgrade for devotees, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has officially launched a cashless donation system via kiosk machines across the Tirumala temple premises. Pilgrims can now donate to the Lord using UPI apps or QR codes, without the need for physical cash or coins.

This initiative supports digital India goals and improves transparency, ease, and safety for devotees and the temple administration.

What Is the TTD QR Code Donation Kiosk?

The donation kiosk is a touch-screen machine installed at multiple points in the temple where devotees can:

  • Select the amount they wish to donate
  • Scan a QR code shown on the screen
  • Pay instantly using UPI apps like PhonePe, GPay, Paytm, BHIM, etc.
  • Receive a receipt with donation details on screen or by email (if entered)

Where Are These Kiosks Installed?

As of May 2025, TTD has deployed these donation kiosks at:

  • Vaikuntam Queue Complex (VQC 1 & 2)
  • Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple Zone
  • Srivari Padalu Footpath Entry (Alipiri)
  • Temple Exit Area near Laddu Counter
  • Kalyanakatta Tonsure Hall (for donors)

🧾 More kiosks will be added at TTD accommodation centers and major donor halls soon.

How to Use the Donation Kiosk – Step-by-Step

StepAction
1Walk up to the TTD kiosk machine
2Choose donation amount from ₹10 to ₹1,00,000+
3Click “Donate via QR Code”

This system allows even first-time pilgrims to donate quickly and securely without waiting near the hundi or dealing with change.

Benefits of Cashless Donation via QR Code

  • Fast & contactless donation process

  • Instant record of donation
  • Avoids misuse or theft of physical offerings

Yes. All transactions are processed via secure, TTD-approved payment gateways. No personal data is stored, and QR codes are unique per transaction. Devotees can rest assured their donation reaches the Lord safely.

Editor’s Note — Tirumala Update, April 2026

As of April 2026, Tirumala continues to be among the world’s busiest pilgrimage destinations, with daily pilgrim footfall typically ranging between 60,000 and 90,000 on ordinary weekdays and climbing well past 1 lakh on weekends, school holidays, and festival periods. Sarva Darshan (free) queue wait times have generally hovered between 8 and 24 hours depending on the day, while Special Entry Darshan (SED) slots continue to move considerably faster.
