For the benefit of the pilgrims, the Shirdi temple is allowing the Senior citizen darshan for the pilgrims. Many pilgrims who are senior citizens cannot go through the line which is crowded. For the benefit of the pilgrims, the Shirdi temple is providing a special queue line for the aged pilgrims. Through this, the pilgrims who are aged can go to the Darshan without any issues. In normal lines which the pilgrims use the crowd will be more. The pilgrims who are senior citizens face many issues in normal queue lines. Because the other pilgrims will be pushing a lot and the aged people will be facing issues.

So to clear this issue, the temple has arranged the Special Darshan quota for the Senior citizens. In this line, there will be all aged people only. So there will be no pushing of the pilgrims of the other pilgrims. The aged people can take one person along with them for the Darshan. So that the other person can assist the pilgrims for the Darshan. The temple authorities of Shirdi have allotted Special timings for the aged pilgrims. The Senior Citizens can go for the Darshan at this timings

The pilgrims have to follow the below timings for the Senior Citizen Darshan at the Shirdi temple.

  • The pilgrims who want to book for the Senior citizen Darshan at Shirdi have to approach the counters which are available in the temple.
  • There is no online booking for the Senior Citizen Darshan in Shirdi. The pilgrims can go to the counter at the above timings and can enter the Special queue for the pilgrims
  • One person will be allowed along with the Senior Citizens. Senior Citizens who are above 60 years of age can access this facility. The pilgrims need to carry the aadhar card for the Senior Citizen Darshan and should report at Gate no.3
