But this year as the COVID cases has come down the temple Simhachalam temple authorities have decided to conduct the Chandanotsavam offline and also allow devotees to participate in the festivals.

For the pilgrims and also devotees of the Simahachalam Lord, the Chandanotsavam festival is an important festival and hence pilgrims will be thronging the temple on these days of the Chandanotsavam. The dates and timings of the Simahachalam Chandanotsavam are as below

This year 2022 the date of the Simhachalam

Chandanotsavam will be on o3 May 2022, Tuesday.

The timings of the Simhachalam Chandanotsavam darshan will be from 3 AM to 12 PM.

  • The devotees will be allowed for the Darshan of the Lord in this timings on the day of the Simhachalam Chandanotsavam.
  • On this pilgrims can attend the Darshan and take the Darshan of the Lord of the Simhachalam in the above timings
  • The temple will be opened as early as possible and pilgrims can get in to ques in the early hours to get the Darshan of the Lord
  • The pilgrims has to follow all the COVID Norms to make sure the Darshan is allowed
  • The temple authorities are also taking many norms and steps to make sure the pilgrims take the Darshan without any issues.
  • The pilgrims need not to book for the Darshan early. But the tickets are available offline for booking
  • Devotees can also take the Darshan of the Simhachalam Lord on the next day as most of the pilgrims will not get the chance to take Darshan of the Lord the on the day of the Simhachalam Chandanotsavam due to the heavy crowd
