  • For the year 2024, the Thaipusam date is on 25  January 2024, Thursday as per the Tamil Calendar. The Thaipusam is mostly celebrated in the state of Tamilnadu.
  • The pilgrims will be celebrating the Thaipusam in there countries and states also if they are from the Tamilnadu state. The pilgrims who do the pooja for the Thaipusam at home will be doing the pooja for the Murugan.
  • The timings of the Thaipusam pooja is from 12.40 PM – 03.09 PM. The pilgrims who do the pooja at home can follow this timings for the pooja at home.
  • If the pilgrims are doing the pooja or visiting the temple for the Thaipusam, then the pilgrims can follow the schedule of the temple. The temple will be opened for the pilgrims from morning to evening and there are no particular timings for the pilgrims who come to the pooja on the Thaipusam day.
  • The pilgrims will be mostly doing the pooja at home in the afternoon by cooking the prasad and offering the harati to the Lord Mururgan.
