SRIVANI VIP Darshan: Tirumala ₹10,000 Donation Route (Complete Procedure)

Shiva Venkateswara Jan 30, 2025 Updated Apr 22, 2026 6 min read

SRIVANI VIP Darshan guide—Rs. 10,000 donation + Rs. 500 ticket (current model), booking steps, timings, quotas, dress code, and scam warnings. Check TTD updates.

  • What it is: A donation-linked route—make a Rs. 10,000 SRIVANI donation per person and then book a Break Darshan ticket (commonly Rs. 500) as per TTD’s current model. Amounts/flow can change—always check the portal/notice.
  • Where it runs: TTD has issued offline same-day quotas at Tirumala and airport counters, and at times released online SRIVANI tickets during festival windows; numbers/timings vary by policy.
  • Not VIP/Protocol: Protocol Break is separate and not for sale. Some periods restrict break darshan to protocol only—watch official updates.

SRIVANI VIP Darshan—popularly called “Tirumala Rs. 10,000 VIP Darshan”—is the donor route where a devotee contributes to the SRIVANI Trust and then avails a Break Darshan slot. While the donation has widely been Rs.10,000 per person plus a Rs. 500 ticket, TTD keeps refining quotas and timings; always follow the latest official flow.

SRIVANI VIP Darshan: how the route works (current model)

  • Step 1 — Donation: Contribute Rs.10,000 per person to the SRIVANI Trust (amount historically used; subject to revision). Donation enables one Break Darshan entitlement per person.
  • Step 2 — Ticketing: Pay the Break Darshan ticket fee (often Rs.500) and get your reporting details. Quotas and time slots are decided by TTD; in 2025, TTD trialled a same-day 4:30–5:00 PM reporting model to reduce overnight waiting.
  • Step 3 — Reporting: Reach VQC by your reporting time with photo ID and donation/ticket receipts. Follow dress code and volunteer guidance.
  • Outcome: A structured Break Darshan entry alongside other entitled categories per that day’s plan.

Policy note: During certain high-demand periods (e.g., Vaikunta), TTD has released online SRIVANI quotas or temporarily restricted break darshans to prioritise common devotees. Check the latest notice before you travel.

Where and when do tickets get issued?

  • Offline Counters (Tirumala): TTD has run same-day SRIVANI donor ticketing—reports noted ~800 tickets/day at Tirumala plus 200 at the Tirupati airport during a 2025 trial. Reporting was standardized to evening 4:30–5:00 PM. Availability and windows may change.
  • Online Releases (festival windows): For example, during a Vaikunta window, TTD planned ~1,000 SRIVANI tickets online on specific days. Such releases are exceptional and policy-driven.

What documents to carry (and dress code)

  • Government photo ID for each devotee (must match details in the ticket).
  • Donation receipt + Break Darshan ticket (print + phone).
  • Traditional attire is advised (men: dhoti/kurta or formal; women: sari/salwar-kameez).
  • Minimal luggage; no restricted items inside the temple.

Timings & flow at the venue (typical)

  • Reporting: As printed on your ticket—recent trials fixed ~4:30 or 5:00 PM same-day reporting for SRIVANI donors.
  • Security & holding: Expect layered checks; keep your group together.
  • Darshan duration: Changes daily with crowd/rituals; allow 2–4 hours overall.
  • Laddus: Follow ticket instructions for receipt counters.

Price math & refunds (know this before paying)

  • Indicative current model: Rs.10,000 donation + Rs.500 Break Darshan ticket = Rs.10,500 per person. TTD may revise amounts/fees, and festival windows can differ. Donations are non-refundable; tickets follow TTD terms.

Who should choose SRIVANI VIP Darshan?

  • Devotees willing to support temple construction/renovation via SRIVANI and seeking a structured Break Darshan.
  • Families planning a single-day hill visit who can align with the evening reporting model.
  • Pilgrims comfortable with policy variability (online/offline, time shifts).

If SRIVANI is unavailable or not your preference

  • Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan: The standard paid, time-slotted darshan—book only via the official portal.
  • Sarva Darshan (Free) / SSD tokens: Walk-in via VQC; SSD tokens (offline) smooth the reporting time.
  • Arjita Sevas / DIP: Ritual-linked access; some via electronic DIP, others via monthly release.
  • Divya Darshan (Footpath): For pilgrims walking Alipiri/Srivari Mettu.

Crowd & availability forecast (🟢🟡🔴)

  • Regular weekdays: 🟡 Moderate; offline quotas may last longer.
  • Weekends/festivals: 🔴 High; counter quotas can close by late morning.
  • Major events (e.g., Vaikunta): 🔴 Policy shifts (online quotas, reduced VIP breaks) are common—recheck notices.

Know Before You Go — mobile checklist

  • ID proofs, donation/ticket receipts (print + phone)
  • Simple, traditional attire; footwear bag
  • Power bank, refillable bottle, light snacks for kids
  • Buffer time: Reach the hill 2–3 hours early; avoid cutting it close
  • Back-up plan: If SRIVANI closes, pivot to Rs.300/SSD/Sevas the right way

Pro tips (insider)

  • Arrive by 9–10 AM for offline counters during trials; queues build early.
  • Save pilgrim profiles in your portal account; keep payment methods ready.
  • If policies temporarily restrict break darshan to protocol only, don’t chase agents—switch to official alternatives.

Common mistakes (avoid these)

  • Paying personal UPI/agents for “guaranteed VIP” or “recommendation letters.” TTD/police keep booking touts—report and avoid.
  • Assuming Rs.10,000 is permanent—TTD can change donation/slotting. Always re-verify.
  • Confusing SRIVANI VIP Darshan with Protocol VIP (not purchasable).

Mini-FAQ on SRIVANI VIP Darshan

Is the donation exactly Rs.10,000 now?
That has been the prevailing amount in recent updates; however, TTD may revise it. Always check the portal/counter notice for the day.

Is there an online option?
Sometimes (e.g., special windows like Vaikunta) TTD releases online SRIVANI quotas; otherwise, offline counters may operate.

What if I donated but missed the slot?
Donations are generally non-refundable; ticket rescheduling/refund follows TTD policy—verify at the counter/portal.

SRIVANI VIP Darshan is a donation-linked pathway—not a generic “VIP ticket” for sale. The Rs.10,000 + Rs.500 model and 4:30–5:00 PM reporting were in use during recent trials, but TTD can change quotas, timings, or channel (online/offline). Book and travel only via official systems, keep a backup darshan plan, and have a peaceful visit.

Editor’s Note — Tirupati Ground Transport Update, April 2026

As of April 2026, pilgrims arriving at Tirupati Railway Station (TPTY) or Renigunta Airport (TIR) continue to have multiple onward options to Tirumala. TTD-operated buses run regularly from the Alipiri bus stand and the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple complex in Tirupati town, while APSRTC also operates frequent services up the ghat road. Pilgrims opting for the traditional padayatra can start at Alipiri Mettu or the shorter Srivari Mettu footpath (Srinivasa Mangapuram side).

  • SRIVANI, Protocol, and SSD pilgrims should verify the current queue entry point and reporting time on tirumala.org.
  • For live bus/queue updates and official alerts, follow news.tirumala.org.

Carry a valid photo ID and your booking confirmation at every checkpoint.
