Teppotsavam festival in Tirumala is an annual festival which will be conducted. The festival will be conducted by the TTD which is the administrative body of the Tirumala temple. Every year, lakhs of pilgrims will be coming to the Teppotsavam festival. Apart from the other festivals which are conducted in the Tirumala Teppotsavam festival is the grandest festival. The Teppotsavam festival will be conducted every year. Mostly the dates of the Teppotsavam festival will be coming in the month of March.
The Teppotsavam festival will be conducted in the Tirumala Pushkarini which is the temple tank. The Teppotsavam festival is a 3-day long festival. On these three days, the Lord will be taken as a procession on the boat in the tank. The Teppotsavam timings will be in the evenings. After the pooja of the Lord, the Teppotsavam festival begins. For some time the Lord will be taken as a procession and rounds on the boat, and then the Uthsava Idols will be moved inside the temple. The same process will be repeated for three days.

- The pilgrims need not book for any special tickets to participate in the Tirumala Teppotsavam. As the festival will be conducted inside the Pushkarini it is openly visible. So the pilgrims whoever is available in Tirumala on this day can see the Tirumala Teppotsavam festival.
- However, if the pilgrims want to enter the Pushkarini then there will be a huge crowd. So the pilgrims may need to come early into the tank to get from row places. Once the Pushkarini is full of pilgrims the gates will be closed.
