TTD Tirumala e Darshan Booking Counter Timings in Hyderabad

Shiva Venkateswara Feb 15, 2023 Updated Jul 6, 2026 5 min read

Last verified July 2026. This is an independent pilgrim-information guide and is not affiliated with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

The TTD Information Centre in Hyderabad is an official Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams city office where pilgrims can walk in to collect information and book certain darshan and seva tickets in person. It is located at Balaji Bhavan, Liberty Circle (near Himayat Nagar), Hyderabad. The centre works like a physical “e-darshan” counter: you visit in person, carry a valid government photo ID, and book advance Special Entry Darshan (Rs. 300) tickets and other services subject to the quota released across India by TTD. It is open every day except Tuesday. For live availability, current fees and any change in timings, always confirm on TTD’s official portals before you travel.

What the TTD Hyderabad information centre / e-darshan counter is for

TTD operates information centres and e-darshan counters in several cities so pilgrims who prefer offline booking do not have to rely only on the internet. At the Hyderabad centre you can:

  • Book Special Entry Darshan (Seeghra Darshanam) tickets in advance, subject to quota.
  • Get official information about Tirumala darshan, sevas, accommodation and general pilgrim services.
  • Book certain arjitha sevas and, when quota is open, accommodation – released on a limited, all-India basis, so early counter hours are best.

Tickets are issued to the person who visits the counter; you cannot collect them without appearing in person with the ID of each pilgrim in the family. This is a genuine TTD facility – there is no separate charge beyond the official ticket fee.

What you can and cannot book at the counter

Special Entry Darshan (Rs. 300)

The Special Entry Darshan, also called Seeghra Darshanam, was introduced by TTD to give pilgrims a quicker darshan. Advance booking of these Rs. 300 tickets is available both online and at TTD counters. At the Hyderabad centre, tickets are released in advance for a defined future window (commonly reported as up to about 90 days ahead, though TTD has changed this window in the past). Because the quota is shared across all TTD counters and the internet, popular dates sell out quickly – arrive early. Confirm the current advance window and price on the official portal.

Sevas and accommodation

Some arjitha sevas and rooms are released to counters on a limited, all-India basis. These are highly demand-driven, so only the first few pilgrims in the queue may succeed on a given day. For accommodation, the official position is that room booking is best done through the official portal; the counter can help only when a quota is open.

How to book at the Hyderabad counter

  • Visit the TTD Information Centre at Balaji Bhavan, Himayat Nagar, on any day except Tuesday.
  • Reach early – morning session is best for limited-quota sevas and rooms.
  • Carry an original government photo ID for each pilgrim being booked.
  • Request the ticket type you need (most commonly Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan) and pay only the official fee.
  • Collect the printed ticket; keep it safe and carry the same ID to Tirumala.

Other ways to book if you cannot reach the counter

Offline booking is not limited to city information centres. TTD also releases Special Entry Darshan tickets through designated head post offices and other authorised channels in many towns. The most reliable route, however, remains TTD’s own online portal, which shows real-time availability for darshan, sevas and accommodation. Avoid any private reseller or “agent” site – only book through TTD’s official channels.
