Lingaraj Temple which is located in Bhubaneshwar is very famous temple for Lord Shiva. Here the Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of Lingaraj. This temple is very famous among the pilgrims who worship Lord Shiva. Every year Lakhs of pilgrims will be visiting this temple and hence the pooja and also other seva in this temple is very tough to get. The temple opens as early as 2 AM in the morning unlike other temple. The Pooja and Seva tickets can be purchased at the temple counters.

Lingaraj Temple Timings Opening Closing Darshan

The Lingaraj Temple opens at 2 AM every day and closes at 10.30 PM in the evening. Unlike many other temple in the country which is dedicated for Lord Shiva, this temple will open thoughout the day for all the pilgrims. Most of the Lord Shiva temples will be closed in the afternoons but this temple will be open. Hence pilgrims can available Darshan anytime in the day before th closing of the temple.

The timings and Pooja of the temple is as below

02:00 am- Temple opening Time
02:30 am- Mangal Aarti
04:00 am- Ballav Bhoga
05:30 am- Pahili Bhoga
06:00 am – 10:00 am -Darshan from a close distance. Devotees are allowed to touch the deity during this time.

10:00 am – 11:00 am -Anna Bhog made with 56 items
11:00 am – 4:00 pm -Darshan from a close distance. Devotees are allowed to touch the deity during this time.

12:00 pm Sakala Dhup
03:00 pm Madyana Dhup
05:00 pm – 6:00 pm Aarti
07:30 pm – Sandhya Dhup
10:00 pm  – Badasinghar
10:30 pm – Temple Closing Hours

The temple dont have any online booking for the Darshan and hence all the Darshan which is available in the temple can be got only through the offline booking. On arrival pilgrims has to go the temple counters and can get the Darshan ticket
