Srikalahasti temple is the most important festival for the pilgrims who are devotees of Lord Shiva. This temple is known as the Dakshina Kasi. The Srikalahasti temple has a very long history which is very ancient and there are lot puranas mentioning the temple. This is the reason the temple is the abode of the many powerful pooja which cannot be performed anywhere else.

The Srikalahasti temple lies about 60 kilometres from the temple of Tirupati. The journey will take less than an hour and pilgrims can perform various dosha nivarana pooja here in the temple. The pilgrims will be mostly visiting the Srikalahasti temple for two poojas mostly. The first one is the Rahu Ketu Dosha Nivarana Pooja and the second one is the Kala Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Pooja.

Pilgrims also will be visiting for the Pooja like Rudhrabhishekam, Mahanyasa Rudrabhishekam etc. The details and timings of the temple is as below

The timings of the Srikalahasti Temple is as below. The temple will be never closed on any occasion. This temple is also opened on an Eclipse day as well.

  • The Rahu Ketu Pooja and other dosha pooja is performed throughout the day in the temple and there is no specific timings. But the Dosha pooja will be closed by 6 Pm every day.
  • As of now, the temple has no online booking for any seva. And for any seva or pooja, the pilgrims have to book at the temple counters only and only through the offline mode. There is no online booking as of now
  • The pilgrims have to book at the counters which is available at the temple premises and tickets will be provided first come first serve basis.
