Tirumala SRIVANI darshan: Tickets, Donation, Timings & How to Book

Shiva Venkateswara Nov 28, 2021 Updated Apr 22, 2026 5 min read

Tirumala SRIVANI darshan: clear guide to donation amount, ₹500 ticket, timings, online/offline booking, dress code and FAQs.

  • Cost: Donation ₹10,000 per devotee to SRIVANI Trust + ₹500 ticket fee (total ₹10,500 pp; policy can update—always check portal).
  • Booking: Online at ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in (when released) or offline SRIVANI Ticket Centre near Annamayya Bhavan.
  • Reporting time: Historically morning VIP-Break slots; several updates indicate 4:30 pm reporting for new bookings from Nov 1, 2025—verify on your ticket.
  • Daily quota is limited (~800/day); process under review by TTD. Plan early.

What is the Tirumala SRIVANI darshan?

SRIVANI is the “Sri Venkateswara Aalayala Nirmanam” Trust. By donating to SRIVANI, devotees can access VIP Break Darshan slots—separate, time-bound entry with the prescribed dress code. TTD runs SRIVANI alongside regular darshan categories; demand spikes around Brahmotsavams and Vaikunta periods, so quotas fill fast. TTD recently opened a dedicated SRIVANI Ticket Centre in Tirumala to decongest queues, and leadership has signalled a broader overhaul of darshan/ticketing, citing heavy rush and the small ~800/day SRIVANI allocation.

Cost & eligibility (what you actually pay)

  • Donation: ₹10,000 per person to SRIVANI Trust.
  • Ticket fee: ₹500 per person (VIP Break Darshan ticket).
  • Total outlay: ₹10,500 per person. (Some third-party guides claim “up to two tickets per donation”; the more consistent/current guidance is per-person donation—always go by what the TTD booking page shows at checkout.)
  • Refunds/reschedule: Typically no refunds; limited reschedule may appear on the booking screen if enabled for your ticket. (Check after login.)

Dress code (checked at entry): Men—dhoti/pyjama with upper cloth; Women—saree/salwar-kameez/traditional wear.

How to book SRIVANI (online & offline)

Online (when quotas are released)

  1. Go to ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in, sign up/login with mobile OTP.
  2. Choose Donations → SRIVANI and complete donation.
  3. Select VIP Break Darshan date/slot available to SRIVANI donors; pay the ₹500 ticket fee for each pilgrim.
  4. Download the darshan ticket; carry a photo ID and printed/phone copy.

Offline (current booking in Tirumala)

  • Visit the SRIVANI Darshan Ticket Centre (near Annamayya Bhavan; new dedicated building for SRIVANI). Carry ID for each devotee and payment method.
  • Tickets are issued for the same day or next day until the day’s quota is exhausted. Expect lines to form early morning; staff announce distribution windows.
  • Local Tip: If you’re already on the hills, try the counter by 4:30–6:00 am for same-day chances. Keep a backup plan (₹300 Special Entry or Free/Divya Darshan) in case SRIVANI quota closes.

Reporting time & entry point

  • Where to report: VQC-1 (Vaikuntam Queue Complex-1) unless your ticket specifies otherwise.
  • When to report: Tickets historically carried morning slots. Multiple updates suggest new reporting time 4:30 pm for bookings from Nov 1, 2025—those booked till Oct 31, 2025 retain 10:00 am. Your ticket rules.
  • What to carry: Government photo ID, printed/e-ticket, simple footwear for security, and adhere to dress code.

Availability, blackouts & festival notes

  • Limited daily quota: Around 800 SRIVANI tickets/day were cited by the EO as a pressure point; TTD is reviewing the model. This explains queues even for donors.
  • Festival windows: During Vaikunta Dwara Darshan (10-day runs), TTD has issued special online batches (e.g., 19,500 SRIVANI tickets across 10 days in a prior cycle) and suspended certain privileged categories—rules vary each year; read the release note.

Practical timeline

  • D-30 to D-10: Try online release—donate & lock slot. Keep refundable hotel.
D-1 (on the hills): If online failed, attempt offline counter at daybreak; carry IDs and dress-code attire.
D-day: Report to VQC-1 per ticket time (check if your ticket says 10:00 am or 4:30 pm). Hydrate; expect security & holding pens.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Assuming one donation covers many: Policy commonly treated as per-person donation; some blogs still say “two tickets.” Always trust the current portal rules at payment.
  • Turning up in casuals: Dress code is enforced at VIP Break entry.
  • Relying on agents: Book only via ttdevasthanams or the official SRIVANI counter.

Know Before You Go (mobile checklist)

  • Photo IDs for all pilgrims
  • Traditional dress (dhoti/angavastram; saree/salwar)
  • Printed/e-ticket + donation receipt
  • Arrive 30–60 min early at VQC-1
  • Backup plan if SRIVANI quota closes (₹300 / Free / Divya Darshan)

Mini-FAQ

  • What exactly is “VIP Break Darshan”?
A short, controlled darshan window with limited pilgrims admitted between regular batches.
  • Can NRIs use SRIVANI?
Yes—NRIs can donate/book if the portal enables SRIVANI for their profile; carry passport for ID.
  • Are children allowed?
Yes; include each child in booking. Dress code still applies.
  • What if my plan changes?
Reschedule (if shown on your ticket) is one-time, otherwise it’s forfeiture—no refunds.

Getting Tirumala SRIVANI darshan right

  • Budget ₹10,500 per person, chase online first, and fall back to the Annamayya Bhavan SRIVANI counter if you’re on the hills. Watch your ticket for the exact reporting time (morning vs 4:30 pm after Nov 1, 2025 updates), dress traditionally, and arrive early at VQC-1. With those steps, your SRIVANI experience will be smooth and sanctifying.

Editor’s Note — Tirumala Darshan Update, April 2026

As of April 2026, the TTD darshan framework continues to operate along the established structure: Sarva Darshan (free), Special Entry Darshan (SED) at ₹300, Senior Citizen and Divyangjan quotas, Arjitha Seva darshan, and Protocol/VIP darshan. SSD (Srivani, etc.) and special quota slots continue to be released via the official portal. Pilgrims should expect the heaviest crowding on weekends, school holidays, Saturdays, Akshaya Tritiya, Garuda Seva, Brahmotsavam days, and Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

  • Book SED and Arjitha Seva tickets only through tirumala.org — avoid all third-party agents.
  • Any revisions to quota, pricing, or timings are published officially on ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in.

Carry your Aadhaar and booking printout; biometric verification continues to be enforced at queue entry.
