For the pilgrims who come to Tirumala, the TTD will be charging the Toll gate charges near the Alipiri. The Toll gate system is introduced long back for the pilgrims who go to Tirumala and also come down from Tirumala. The pilgrims are charged for the usage of the Ghat Road to reach the Tirumala temple. The Toll gate charges will help the TTD to maintain the quality of the roads. Also, with the payment of the Toll gate charges the pilgrims will also get the facilities on the roads. The Tirumala ghat roads have towing facility, Ambulance and also roadside assistance. For all these facilities the pilgrims are due to pay the Toll gate charges.

The Pilgrims need to pay the toll gates charges at the Alipiri checkpoint. The pilgrim’s luggage also will be checked at this point for prohibited items. The items which are prohibited by the pilgrims to carry to Tirumala are not allowed beyond this point

For different vehicles, different amounts will be charged. The pilgrims need to pay for the Tollgate at the Alipiri checkpoint. Please note, Fast tag has been introduced here in these points and is available. However, sometimes, the pilgrims may need to pay for the tollgate in cash. So, it is always suggested that pilgrim carry cash.

LCV / Bus / Truck – (3.4.5.6) Axle /EME / HCM: Rs. 200/-

The prices of the Tollgate in Tirumala will be hiked regularly. So the above amount is for informational purpose only. The pilgrims need to recheck once at the Tirumala toll gate once.
