Tirumala temple will be doing lot of festivals for the Lord Venkateswara. One of the most important festival for the Tirumala temple is the Vaikunta Ekadasi. Vaikunta Ekadasi is the festival which is for the Lord Venkateswara only. Every year lakhs of pilgrims will be coming for the Darshan of the Lord on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day. The Tirumala temple also opens the Vaikunta Ekadasi Dwaram on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day. This means the Doors which are beside the Tirumala temple will be opened for the pilgrims only on this day. The pilgrims can enter these Vaikunta Ekadasi Dwaram doors and can take a round of the Lord Venkateswara from behind the temple. These doors will be opened for the pilgrims only on this day.

For the year 2024, the Vaikunta Ekadasi is not available for the pilgrims. This means the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival does not fall in the year 2024. The Vaikunta Ekadasi can be celebrated in December 2023 and then in January 2025 only. As per the TTD Panchangam the Vaikunta Ekadasi is not available for the year 2024. This is due to the adjustment of the days and also the tithi for the Vaikunta Ekadasi in the Panchangam.

  • The pilgrims cannot have the Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshan this year. So the pilgrims can attend the Vaikunta Ekadasi celebrations in Tirumala during the timings of the before year or the next year.
  • The pilgrims can check with the TTD for the details of the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival of the next year. The Vaikunta Ekadasi festival decision and also the nona availability of the festival next year is for all the temples of the Lord Vishnu.
  • The pilgrims can celebrate the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival before the year or the next year only as the TTD Panchangam.
