Khairatabad Ganesh is one of the most famous Ganesha Idols which is kept in Hyderabad city. This is also the largest idol in the state which is celebrated every year. The Khairatabad Ganesh will be opened for the Darshan of the pilgrims on the day of the Vinayaka Chavithi festival. Then pilgrims can come to the Khairatabad Ganesh and can have the Darshan. The pilgrims also will be offering many offerings to the Lord. The Khairatabad Ganesh will be available for the pilgrims for Darshan for the next 9 days after the festival. Khairatabad Ganesh Visarjan or the Nimajjanam will be done on the ninth day of the Vinayaka Chavithi festival. The pilgrims can not date after visiting the temple. The Khairatabad Ganesh 2023 Visarjan date is on 28 September 2023. The timings will be from after 3 PM and will continue till the Nimajjanam continues for the Khairatabad Ganesh. The pilgrims need to book for the Visarjan process. The pilgrims can participate in the procession directly.

  • The route for the Khairatabad Ganesh Visarjan is standard when compared to the other type of the Vinayaka idols. The pilgrims cannot take the vehicles along with the procession.
  • The pilgrims need to walk till the Idol completes the procession. Once the procession is completed, the last pooja will be performed for the pilgrims and also for the Lord. Then the Khairatabad Ganesh will be done for the Nimajjanam.
