Srinivasa Mangapuram is one of the holy temples surrounding Tirupati. Srinivasa Mangapuram temple is considered as the most important and also oldest temple next to Tirumala temple itself. The Srinivasa Mangapuram temple has equal importance to the Tirumala temple. Pilgrims who are unable to visit the Tirumala temple can also visit the Srinivasa Mangapuram temple and can get the blessing of Lord Sri Venkateswara. Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple History

Lord Sri Venkateswara after the marriage to Padmavathi Devi at Narayanavanam was on the way to Tirumala and has visited Agasthiya Maharshi here. It is said that, Maharshi has requested Lord Venkateswara to stay at this place for six months. Hence, Lord Venkateswara stayed here for six month and after the period has left to Tirumala through the Srivari mettu route. Hence this temple got equal importance to Tirumala.

Srinivasa Mangapuram Kalyanotsavam

As Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy stayed here for sometime, and the idol is worshiped as Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, this place is considered as most auspicious for the newly wed couple. It is considered as most auspicious for newly wed couple to perform Kalyanotsavam here after the wedding. The Kalyanotsavam here is performed daily to the Lord.

The Srinivasa Mangapuram Kalyanotsavam is performed daily at the temple premises. The timings for the Kalyanotsavam are from 10.30 AM to 12.30 AM. The pilgrims are allowed to have Darshan after the Kalyanotsavam. Two people are allowed with the Pilgrims who participate in the Kalyanotsavam.

Daily the tickets for Srinivasa Mangapuram Kalyanotsavam is provided at the ticket counter near the temple at the Srinivasa Mangapuram temple. It is first come first serve basis and the tickets are issued from 09.00 AM daily. One can buy ticket at the temple itself if unable to book online.
